Jesper Bencke (DK), PhD, is the manager of the Human Movement Analysis Laboratory at Copenhagen University Hospital in Amager-Hvidovre, Denmark. He holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science and Biomechanics and a PhD in Human Physiology from the University of Copenhagen. His research during the past 20 years has focused on prevention of injuries in sports, specifically ACL injuries in handball and football, and also development of tests and new approaches to prevention and rehab exercises. He has a long career as handball coach at both junior elite level and adult elite level, including positions as assistant coach of male and female teams at highest national level and at junior national teams. He will have a theoretical part and and a practical workshop on “Injury Prevention Lower Limb in Handball”.
